Crooked Lake Resort has been in operation since the early 60's. It has had various owners since that time, all of whom have put their unique signature on the resort to enhance its appeal. The one mainstay is its continued appeal to those looking for a remote, wilderness experience.

The new owners, Al and Kim Bouwmeester, moved from rural Ontario and were looking for a place to land in BC. After taking one look at this hidden gem, they never looked back. We are thrilled to be part of the Horsefly community and take on the trials and tribulations of running a resort while living 'off the grid'. Although it's a bit of a hike, we hope that everyone will come for a visit as the resort will now be open all year round for lodging.
